hmmm... didn't update again for like forever.
well, the main reason i didn't is because i have gone through a very tough internal battle these weeks and as such, things went out of focus.
anyway, i'm sorta back and to kick it off, i would like to scream.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you. we now resume regular programming.
i have watched hp 4 two and a half times now. the first one and a half was last wednesday at ever commonwealth with my tru prend arao. the other one was this sunday at ever caloocan with myself. the quality of the screens at both cinemas were horrendous. maiiyak ka ng dugo sa sobrang panget. one moment you hear the audio loud and clear, the other you feel as though fog has blurred your vision. that's why me and my sister have planned to watch it at sm north on monday. harhar... can't stop drooling over daniel's half-nekkid bodah!
i mean, man, where have you seen such porcelain skin in your whole life? he's the hottest, sexiest 16-year old alive! damn, damn, damn. tom felton would have made me drool more but alas! his ferret scene, which was supposed to have him ending up nekkid, is a fully-clothed phenomenon.
katie leung reminds me of jasmine trias. robbert pattinson suited cedric diggory well although i wished the casting people should have chosen another much more handsome, potentially-threatening-to-dan's-and-tom's-hotness actor. viktor krum is as stoic as described in the book, although, again, i know there are better-looking krums out there. clemence poesy reminds me of claire danes. she fits her role well enough. in truth, i couldn't care less about these actors anyway, sorry.
the plot of gof is something i have known since i was a high school student so incoherent lines weren't my problem. thank god i knew because a) i have poor hearing, probably due to smoking (that's why i've quit for the meantime); and b) british actors seem to have a thing for delivering their lines as rapidly as possible. bless alan rickman for delivering snape's lines as slowly as possible. the pace of the story was, as one review describes it, "breakneck" and that's good because at least the movie won't bore you. however, having a breakneck pace has its disadvantages. some people who are not book readers found it too fast and furious; thus, if they weren't listening carefully, they couldn't put the plot together. in fairness to gof, it was much easier to understand than poa. my sis didn't even get poa if i didn't explain the whole time turner thing to her!
i liked gof. of all the films, this has to be my most fave. dan plays harry better now, i think the character's rubbed off on him already. emma has some really overreacting lines and scenes but i guess hermione's supposed to be overreacting so that's tolerable enough. rupert is hilarious. he may play ron timidly and a little scrunching of the face is all he does basically but he's a very funny actor. tom felton should have had more air time. or at least slicked back his hair just like he used to. i think we'll never see him that way anymore because tom doesn't like having his hair slicked back. he says it takes too much time to prim him up and all.
verdict: worth the wait, at least for this time being that i am completely enamored with the movie, and four thumbs up!
that's all, til next time, tata!
