I watched The Corpse Bride today. It was pretty ok. Not a predictable story, although one can draw a lot of conclusions from the plot. Not a very outstanding film either, but it's fair enough a watch. Not a very odd story either, although the idea is very original. Maybe this will be nominated for an Oscar or something. If not, well why the hell would you care about what I say anyway? Pretty escapist, though some underlying ideologies surface implicitly. The mood of the film is generally somber and dark but it's not frightening. The Bride does remind me of Sadako sometimes. Won't spill why. Watch it if you want to get a little entertained.
I watched it cause I know it will show the GOF trailer.. heehee.
If The Corpse Bride didn't catch my eye, I would have watched The 40-year old virgin or Dubai... jokes!

quite a long time since i posted
well loads of reasons:
1) have no internet card. feeling guilty over using pldt vibe because our bill is getting bigger due to my overusing.
2) the avr is having a fit, won't properly run itself. fearing fire and dilapidated body parts, i decided not to mess with my curiosity and try to plug it.
3) just tad lazy
anyway, acads-speaking, i got three results of class standing from three of my classes. i got a 1.0 for my kas 1 and pol sci 14 classes; 1.25 for my comm 100. journ, i fret will give me a 2.0 as the highest and 2.5 as the lowest. i pretty much fucked up the finals so i sincerely think it will go as such. film , well just as the same range maybe since i had two absences, not a very high report grade and not a very high exams grade.
oh well, so much for acign all of them. but then again, grades are just grades, numbers with meaning due to social conventions.
crs jsut fucking sucks. in two rounds, i was only able to get three out of the seven i wanted!!!!! fucker, i need to enlist one of the prerequisite classes or else i'm history. if all else fails, i'll prerog myself.
i really, really wish i will be able to get that class today. it's the final processing run and man, have the odds gone away from me. oh well, i'll just enroll myself early.
on other things, yeah i'm enjoying my lazy sembreak--needed it a lot. i've been reading rurouni kenshin fanfictions again and currently juggling blood dawn, frozen moonlight, retired and falling for battousai. finished with dancing plums and 8th grade literature; and my life--both of which i really adored although i like the former better.
because of this, i have been again inspired to write an rk fic. don't know if i will get to finish it though, knowing me.
anyway, that's all!

quite queer for me not to update my blog on a regular basis eventhough it's already the long, well-deserved sembreak...

only one reason: SEVERE INDOLENCE

not that anyone would miss me anyway.
just to update you, i have been a very responsible daughter these past few weeks. my routine for the meantime has been: wake up at 11, fix the newly-bought store stuff aka mga pinamalengke ni mama na mga chichiria etc., eat while watching Game KNB?, wash the dishes and fix the table, "guard" the store, fiddle with my pc, eat dinner, watch shows if applicable on that day, fiddle with my pc until at the most 3 am, sleep, and so on.
it's boring, monotonous and all that, i know but it actually hasn't bore me yet. i just wanted to relish these moments of rest, boredom and idleness because i know come second sem, i'm off to the chaotic, stressful college life again.
i am also becoming more homey by doing household chores on my own accord. yup, so not me, i know.

my dreaded, anticipated grades for the first sem have been released online so i assume that they're accurate because they wouldn't dare post it there if it's not, right? then again, i might have been a victim of a technological breakdown and so my grades are mixed up.
i hope not because they are pretty good.
modesty aside, i aced two subjects, 1.25 one, and 1.5 three. won't tell na lang
pretty happy although that nagging, pessimistic side of me always scoffs i could have done better. oh whatever. i don't care. did what i did.
the crs results were a nightmare. i only got enlisted in five of the eight i wanted and the fifth one wasn't even a choice. it's a 5:30 to 8:30 pm class, for godssakes! i will not obsess over it though because last sem, i was able to make it through enlisting all my subjects manually.
i still need my last pe (even pe 1 will do) and an mst or elective. i will cancel my slot for that super-duper late class and sign up for even a wednesday class that's got a more reasonable sched.

i did some additions in the layout. i still haven't changed it because i haven't thought of a unique and fun template.
i added cliques because i included a site in one of the cliques i joined in. can't change the member info though.
so there ya have it, new cliques of mine.
there are quite a lot actually, over a hundred but i decided to place some of them here.
